Meet Dr. Kimball
John Kimball D.D.S.
If you wish, I encourage you to schedule a brief meeting with me prior to making your first dental appointment at my office. I know I am sometimes a bit uncomfortable seeing a "stranger" for health care. If you are fearful or anxious about dental care, this can be an important first step. Even if you're not, it is my hope to continue seeing you and your family for your dental care needs for many years, so getting to know each other is important. If we have already met, thank you for coming to see me.
If we have not met, I can tell you a little bit about me. Feel free to skip to the next page if this gets boring.
I am a native Washingtonian, though I did spend a few of my early years in Alaska. I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Zoology in 1977 and again in 1981 with Doctor of Dental Surgery. (Yes, I am a Husky, but I do not follow sports to any great extent, so if you are a die hard Cougar, I won't bug you about it.)
Besides my main hobby of dentistry I also enjoy working with computers and networks, internet games, boating, golfing, gardening and remodeling houses. After years of playing around with electronics, I added a new hobby: Amateur Radio. In March 2009 I earned my general class "ham" license. You may hear me sometime on one of the amateur radio bands as KF7AZP.
